How to Perform Guided Meditation
We need to deal with different thing everyday. When we go out of our houses and on our way to work we have to deal with noise pollution, cars honking, motorcycles honking, neighbours playing loud music. When we get to work we have to deal with cramped elevators, swamped desks, moody bosses and clients and of course we also have to deal with irritating officemates. All these can cause a certain degree of stress. All throughout the day we can barely relax, we can barely find a relaxing spot where we can drift away from reality. All throughout the day we have to face reality. Because of this never ending debacle at the end of the day we end up lethargic. To counter this we need to do something relaxing when we get home like a guided meditation.
The type of meditation that takes you on a journey through a narration is commonly known as guided meditation. A guided meditation takes place by reading a script that is meant for meditating. The script can either be read by someone or you can always play a CD for guided meditation. For a guided meditation to work you have to let go of conscious thoughts and let your subconscious take over. Guided meditation can certainly help you relax and unwind and it can also help you sleep better at night and gain stress reduction.
